The Rush in Cagayan De Oro

Few days before my departure to CDO , my friends did not confirm yet if they're coming with me. I already made plan B for my solo trip. It could have been pretty amazing and fulfilling adventure.  But traveling with friends is more fun.  Fonzy and Kebs flight was an hour ahead so I stayed at the Laguindingan Airport for more than an hour. There are no seats , or waiting area in the airport so I just stand in front of the arrival gate and waited for them for hours (Patience is a virtue!). There were a lot of agencies who offered me transportation from the Airport to CDO for P250 only but thank God Kebs already contacted their Company in CDO for free pick up.




Minutes after the arrival of the aircraft boarded by Fonz and Kebs, I saw a man inside the airport running ans wearing only underwear. I though there was a chaos, I almost run far from the gate haha. It was my first time in Mindanao, and there was a recent bombing in CDO and all the things that are happening in Zamboangga, I felt a little bet nervous. My mom was so disagree to this trip but I insisted. The man turned out to be drunk and don't know what his doing.

We departed laguidingan at around 10:40am and arrived at Seaside Seafold restaurant at 11:30am.  The ambiance of the restaurant was relaxing. The food were great but not satisfied with the amount of servings in relation to its' price.  We paid P1,074 for the five of us.

At 12:30pm we arrived at the Hotel, Cagayan Park View Lodge located near Divisoria. We availed the Junior Deluxe for the rate of P1,710 for two nights accommodation. That is only P285 per person/per night.

At 1pm we were picked up by Bugsay Rafting. I searched for the directions on how to get to the jump off point for the rafting from CDO , and now I know why I never read something about that.  All agencies offering water rafting courses will shoulder your transportation from anywhere in CDO City to the Cagayan River. The travel time is about an hour. We availed the advance rafting course amounting to P1,000. Basic is boring (yabang eh) :) It is a 16 km river stretch , 3-4 hr actual river run. When I first read the course it seems so long and I thought it would be difficult for first timer but to my surprise it was short ride actually! We keep wanting for more rush! We want to paddle long, 4 hrs is not enough for the fun and excitement we experienced. It was one of the most unforgettable and amazing 4 hrs of my life. I can't wait to go back and try the Advance 2 course. Still I will choose Bugsay. They're the best.

We met some friends, the couple Ate Mae and Kuya Dean. They are from bicol and visited CDO  just to try water rafting.Next time I will paddle with my future lover. char haha

The strap of my slipper broke so I went home barefooted hahaha. We also did not bring clothes to wear so we traveled back to CDO wet and itchy. That was fun and worth it.
