We had a chance to go to Sepoc Island for a
summer outing. I don’t know much about
the place because I only searched for Eagle Point Resort, our main venue. Sepoc is a 15 minutes outrigger boat ride
from Eagle Point Resort. Eagle Point Resort in Batangas, Philippines enjoys a
splendid location along the eastern coast of Balayan Bay in Barrio Bagalangit,
Anilao. It is just a 2-hour drive from Manila. The place has a group of islands and the first one
you’ll see is the Sombrero Island then Sepoc, the rest were unknown to me.
I was so happy to see the islands and the beach because at first
I thought we’ll be staying the whole time in the resort with no shore lines and
other views (that could be boring).
Sepoc beach has white sand, cool air, although the sun is really hot but
the view is surprising. I couldn’t
believe there is such a beach in the heart of Batangas other than Laiya.
Positive aspect of the island are its beach center with an
open sided dining area and function area at bar that can accommodate up to 100
visitors, its watch tower, and activity area in the shore (like for various
relay games). I must say that the island
is a secluded beach. The picturesque blue sky and water, and green mountains
are just few reasons why it’s a perfect getaway one need to escape the
harshness of city life.

These pictures are the scenes, smell, taste,
sounds that welcomes me at the island. Although we did not get the chance
to swim since we did not bring swim wears because we had not imagined that the
beach would be that fascinating. Anyway,
we were busy having fun in the activity center for various team building
activities.
I returned to Manila satisfied because we’ve got what we
paid for, who can complain for this kind of P2K summer outing, its
enrichingly more than we've expected and worthy to revisit soon!
What about the beach itself? Does it have jellyfish or other creepy sea creatures that would make us decide not to swim anymore? Reply ASAP. We'll go there this weekend with then whole company.
ReplyDeletewe did not get the chance to swim so not sure about the beach.

ReplyDeleteHi, is beach camping possible in sepoc beach? thanks!
ReplyDeleteits a private island i think owned by eagle point resort and not sure if they allow camping there.
DeleteIf you're not staying at Eagle Point Resort, is it still possible to stop by Sepoc Beach for a quick look (while island-hopping in that area)? Thanks!
