The resort has become a prime tourist destination for locals, overseas Filipinos and a wide array of foreign visitors to the country. It has a worldwide reputation as a showcase for the Philippines' rich cultural heritage, offering a beguiling glimpse of its history, cuisine, dress, customs and natural beauty.

Native bamboo raft at Lake Labasin |
One of the amenities provided by the resort to visitors is the native bamboo rafting that is available and is included with the day tour. You can check the resorts websites for the rates. So sad I was not able to experience paddling in a native bamboo raft at the lake. Something personal happened that prevented me from taking the exciting activity.
Waterfalls Restaurant |
Lunch at the Waterfalls Restaurant was a unique experience. Eating with the man-made waterfall backdrop and cool water running over our feet made it even more interesting. It was not just a simple buffet lunch because we were treated to a feast of local dishes served on bamboo tables. They serve delicious Filipino dishes such as lechon manok, sea foods, and fresh fruits. The rest of the day was free time to enjoy the facilities of the resort. If you go there on weekends, a cultural show is presented.

Enjie's Jump Shot in front of the Pink Church |
We stayed in a long house that can comfortably accommodate 10 pax and are artistically made with local materials. The rooms are not air-conditioned but the weather was cool anyway.
Villa Escudero is a quite unique experience. Starting from the carabao ride with "harana", lunch by the waterfalls, and the scenery. I wish I could bring my family here. The experiences I had aside from the restaurant with the man made waterfalls can be experience from my home town in Samar. I missed my province tuloy. Anyway thanks a lot Century Properties for the free getaway.
